Selected issues of implementing the concept of open data in e‐government
Abstract
In the last few years, open data has grown into an almost mainstream activity for many governments around the world. While opening up datasets provides great opportunities, the idea of open data also raises various kinds of challenges to its stakeholders. The paper discusses the selected rules of publishing open data by governments, as well as some aspects of social and economic impact on society.
