The principles of interoperability and standardization in the European Union ubiquitous e-Government systems
Abstract
This paper presents the concept of interoperability and standardization of ubiquitous e-Government in the European Union. Authors show the term of interoperability and the three levels of interoperability assessment: technology, systems and tasks. Interoperability standards are considered in three aspects: technical, organizational and semantic. The paper presents the examples of EU countries with the most advanced framework for interoperability and the example of e-services fully on-line.
