Virtual communities in the health-care system
Abstract
The aim of the work is the characterization of the phenomenon of virtual communities and their part in the health-care system, especially, as back-up groups, communities which educate, create and promote the healthy lifestyle. In the article were also presented findings of survey research which aimed at the identification of the level of respondents’ participation in virtual communities concentrated on widely understood health problems, the health protection and assessment of the inclination of respondents to the membership in such groups.
