Hospital Information Systems supporting management approach in management of medical facilities
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to present the role of information systems, especially Hospital Information Systems in medical facilities management. On the background of the process approach to management the selected hospital information systems were analyzed. On this basis characteristic features, as well as the benefits and barriers resulting from use of HIS in medical facilities were identified.
