Problem jednoznaczności parametryzacji rozkładów fazowych

Streszczenie
Rozkłady fazowe są często wykorzystywane w teorii ruiny. Klasa ta, choć wyjątkowo wygodna i użyteczna, posiada poważną wadę – niejednoznaczną parametryzację. Ma to konsekwencje w przypadku, gdy rozkład nie jest znany i występuje problem jego estymacji na podstawie danych z próby.
Wśród znanych podklas klasy rozkładów fazowych istnieją klasy o jednoznacznej parametryzacji, lecz nie są one gęste na dodatniej półosi. Istnieją tez podklasy gęste, ale wówczas powielają one problem niejednoznacznej parametryzacji.
Artykuł prezentuje pewna podklasę, która jest nieobarczona problemem niejednoznacznej parametryzacji a jednocześnie, pomimo narzuconych ograniczeń, zachowuje gęstość.

Uniqueness parametrization problem of phase-type distribution

Abstract
Phase-type distributions are often used in ruin theory. This class, although very convenient and useable, has a serious defect – non-unique parameterization. This has consequences in case when the distribution function is not known, and we want to estimate it based on data from the sample.
Among known subclass of phase-type distributions, there are classes with unique parametrization, buy they are not dense in the class of distribution on the nonnegative halfline. There exist also dense classes, but then they are burdened with the problem of unique representation.
The aim of this paper will is to present a subclass, which has a unique parameterization and remains dense.
