Temporal logic in the concept of a knowledge base in the Logos system for representing legal knowledge
Abstract
Each enterprise has to adjust its strategy to environmental factors, legal environment being one of them. Many attempts to build intelligent reasoning systems that would be helpful in this task have already been made. Nevertheless, as legal environment is partly of temporary nature, an intelligent tool has to take time into account, too. In this paper, we present the first results of research aimed at building an intelligent system capable of reasoning about legal knowledge with its temporal aspects.
