Information technology in health service
Abstract
The modern health care system in every country is characterized by the use of a new technology to contact with patients, to make the communication between doctors easier, to teach doctors how to be more professional or to access to public health service simpler. There are many attempts and examples of using IT in the Polish reality. Many of them are designed for patients, for doctors and for health institutions. The presented paper is an attempt to put together results of the IT implementation in the Polish health care system and a resume, how strong can be an impact of IT on Polish consumer of the public health care system.
